About The Walk
Sanjay Van(Forest) Walk is a must if you are interested in deeper stories of Delhi. How everything started in Delhi and how this city became what it is today. Our first stop is a temple and said to be almost 5000 years old; the moment we starts walking in the forest, we realize how old the stories of this place goes to. When we walk over the walls of the first fort and imagine the complete structure, when we imagine the first markets of the city and traders who use to come from all over the known world in 800 AD. When we listen to a story of love and revenge and beginning of Islamic rule in India. The first so-called Islamic tomb in north India and finally ending the walk over few cup of tea. Not just a walk, but a kind of time-travel.
